DOT 32 : CRANIOTOMY

Daniel (7+ years old)
Tuesday, November 12, 2002

You replied quickly, "Okay!"
It would appear that You could not wait to go for the operation. Perhaps your excitement about the PS2 was so intense that a high-risk craniotomy just paled by comparison.

After You were wheeled into the operating theater, Mom hurried to Aunt Jessie, who was at the Waiting Area. Mom's tone was urgent as she asked Aunt Jessie to drive to Toys ‘R’ Us to get a BIG pack of toys for You.
Dad did not, and would not, have the time to leave the hospital to get your PS2, and we did not want You to be disappointed when You “open your eyes” later, to see nothing at the foot of your bed.
So, Aunt Jessie and Justine went to Toys ‘R’ Us for a shopping spree.
Dad stepped out of the Waiting Area to make some calls, whilst Mom sat in a corner, folding her arms nervously against her chest and shivering in the coldness of the room.
Shortly after, Mom’s cell phone beeped indicating an in-coming text message ...

There is no problem too big, God cannot solve it
There is no mountain too tall, He cannot move it
There is no storm too dark, He cannot calm it
There is no sorrow too deep, He cannot soothe it
God would soon carry You through the operation ... <3

HE WILL CARRY YOU
