Day 10 in Lourdes
NOVENA DAY 2
We had a really nice picnic under the tree.
It was around 4:30 pm, when Dad felt it was time to go back to the hotel. You had been on the chariot-stretcher since 11 am. You wanted to go back to the hotel too. The Blessed Sacrament procession was on at 5 pm daily, but we decided it had been a long day and we would participate the next day instead.
Besides, You were feeling a bit weird, You said.
We had to raise your head up a little for lunch, and that elevation could have caused the high / low pressure in the head to be disorientated.
It must be mentioned that your back pains were a thing of the past. Let us never forget that a miracle had happened at the baths on our second day at the grotto, as evidenced by the medical scan at Pao Hospital.
Your discomfort before that, had ranged from mild to excruciating, and Mom remembers how helpless we were when You demonstrated agonizing pains from time to time then.
On hindsight now, she cannot imagine how You would have been able to lie flat on your back on the chariot had your slipped disc not been healed.
Thank You Jesus, for that.
Mother Mary must love You very much.
